Bespoke Christmas decorating project for a traditional lakeside slate inn in the heart of Ambleside
The Ambleside Inn has been welcoming visitors to stay, eat and drink for over 300 years and has recently undergone a wonderful restoration. Our designers envisaged a traditional Christmas scheme with rustic touches and warm lighting to compliment the look and feel of this Lake District inn.
A selective colour scheme of reds, greens and golds flows throughout the space, coordinating the traditional look. Every corner adorned with decorative accessories to continue the rich scheme and add a festive touch thoughout the building.
Christmas trees, garlands and wreaths adorned with warm lights and glimering decorations were just the start, sometimes it is all the little touches that make the difference! Berries, pinecones, rustic hanging stars, lanterns and wooden festive ornaments added a richness and natural-looking finishing touches.
The result was a delightfully cosy and luxurious festive atmosphere to drink, dine and relax beside the fire.
