Artificial Alliums - Real Look

At Inspirations we have a lovely selection of artificial alliums at affordable prices which would make dramatic additions to your creative displays. The wonderful forms of these unique spherical blooms are the perfect partners for a variety of flowers and foliage and we are sure that you will achieve many fabulous arrangements using the beauty and volume of faux alliums.

The allium genus of plants includes onions, garlic, shallots, leeks, chives and ornamental alliums that are grown for their attractive, architectural blooms. Also known as ornamental onions, alliums grow naturally in the temperate climates of the northern hemisphere. There are also a few species which are native to Chile and tropical Africa.

Allium blooms are notable for their striking spherical umbels. An Umbel is a spray of floral heads spreading out from a common point. In other words alliums feature attractive balls of petals! These grow in a variety of appealing colours and are an extremely popular feature of garden borders because of their interesting architectural forms. They are also favourites with florists for their structure and colour, all of which has been translated fantastically into our collection of realistic faux allium flowers.

Artificial alliums can be used in floral displays to create structure and dramatic contrasts. They are an eye catching feature that really lifts an arrangement with interest and texture. Natural alliums are, however, poisonous to both cats and dogs and so pet owners are best advised to use artificial alliums for indoor arrangements.
