1990 – ‘The Dried Flower People’
Husband and wife team Kate and Paul started a small business from their home selling dried and artificial flowers under the name of “Inspirations – The Dried Flower People”.
1993 – Our First Store Opens
We opened our first store in Bromborough, Merseyside and changed our name to Inspirations Wholesale. A shift was made from dried flowers to artificial as well as the introduction of floristry supplies and homewares.
1995 – Our First Relocation
As our popularity grew, we required more space and relocated to a bigger warehouse just across the street from where we are now located.
2006 – Floristry Supply Experts
We started a partnership with the world renowned Smithers Oasis Company, carrying their largest depot in the country. This allows us to supply florists with everything they could possibly need from floral foams, flower food and stem wrap to glue guns and packaging materials.
2008 – Moved to Our Current Location
We moved into our new purpose built 27,000 square foot warehouse in Bromborough, Merseyside. With more space came the ability to create our popular large scale displays and provide customers with ample parking.
2010 – Inspirations Wholesale is Now Online
Our new website was launched, the first step in developing a strong online presence and creating a way to reach more customers online. Our reliable next day delivery service and commitment to customer service has meant that this website has continued to grow over time.
2016 – As Seen on TV!
Our Christmas range is featured on Celebrity Big Brother. Starting off our history of supplying other popular film and television sets including “This Morning” and “The Gadget Show” with lanterns and tea light holders making an appearance on “Dulux Paint” adverts and “Hollyoaks”. 2018 – Home Fragrance Specialists
Our home fragrance department expanded, becoming a key supplier of MadeByZen Electronic Aroma Diffusers thanks to our specialist knowledge. Find out more about MadeByZen in this post.
