Celebrity Big Brother 2016 - Christmas

As Featured In: Celebrity Big Brother 2016

Here at Inspirations Wholesale, we were delighted to be asked to supply Celebrity Big Brother with an array of fun and festive products for the Christmas task on Day 24 in the Big Brother house. The episode, aired on Sunday 21st August (yes the middle of summer), featured a fine selection of Christmas decorations and accessories to help create a seasonal atmosphere for the celebrities’ challenges.

The celebrities were split into two teams. Team Reindeer were led by Head Reindeer Katie Waissel and included Stephen Bear, Ricky Norwood and Samantha Fox, and Team Elf were led by Chief Elf Frankie Grande and included Renne Graziano, Aubrey O'Day and Marnie Simpson.

The teams had to take part in a number of activities including 'helping out' in Santas Workshop or prancing by Santa's sleigh when summoned, riding a bucking Christmas pudding to see how long they could stay on and play a Not So Boring Board Game.

Supplying the Festive Look

Some of our fabulous Christmas decorations and accessories that featured in this Celebrity Big Brother episode include:

reindeer celebrity big brother

Our lovely standing plush reindeer were inside the Big Brother house watching over the celebrities during their Christmas tasks. Measuring 165cm and complete with oversized boots, Christmas coat and scarf these plush reindeer really looked the part.

Some of our adorable standing plush elves were happily guarding the fireplace in the lounge area. Measuring 170cm they have oversized boots, stripy legs and pointed hats. Although, they did get dressed in some human clothes during the show.

A selection of other festive friends added some Christmas cheer to the Celebrity Big Brother house. The sleek standing aluminium reindeer was shown proudly positioned on the table in the kitchen.

snowman and Santa, frosted Christmas tree and elf from Celebrity Big Brother 2016

To decorate the 'Not So Boring Board Game' our plush standing Santa, snowmen, and fabric elves lined either side of the 'board' and dotted around were some of our Snowy Toronto miniature flocked artificial Christmas trees. After rolling the dice, celebrities had to move their team marker across the board. Landing on the red squares meant the celebrities had to attempt a festive challenge and the green squares meant they would have to guess which housemate was being talked about in viewers' tweets.

Christmas garlands from Celebrity Big Brother 2016

Some wonderful garlands in a variety of styles were also supplied for the Big Brother house including our 9ft glacier garland in green, flocked twig garland in white and flocked holly, berry and snow garland. Festive garlands were added throughout the house, across the mantelpiece, wrapped around pillars and used to decorate ledges, helping to bring the Christmas theme together.

Christmas Baubles from Celebrity Big Brother 2016

Red and green baubles were the chosen colours supplied to the Big Brother house and this including some of our fabulous large 150mm shatterproof colour disco baubles and 200mm shatterproof red baubles. Great for decorating the bigger trees that some of the celebrities later decided they would jump into.

Explore the Christmas Range

Both teams were given Christmas presents and as Team Elf won the Christmas task overall they were awarded two nominations each, where as Team Reindeer were only awarded the one nomination each.
