Ensure the bulb holder is fully inserted and the wooden base is centred on a flat, stable surface. Position the cable within the wooden recess so the base stands flat. Always switch off the electricity supply and allow the lamp to cool before moving, changing the bulb or cleaning. Do not use abrasive materials as they may damage the finish. Ensure the bulb does not exceed the maximum rating and dispose of old bulbs carefully.
