Our collection of Oasis wet foam includes foam bricks and blocks, rings and posy pads, cylinders, spheres and even design sheets to keep your real flower arrangements looking fresh and stable for any occasion.
Real flower arrangements can be stunning in their fresh beauty but are only temporary. However by using the best wet foam bases your floral displays will last longer, look fresher and be more secure in their arrangement. The wet Oasis maxlife foam is the only wet foam that is proven to meet or beat flower life in a vase and can quickly absorb and retain the water to provide the stems of the plants with constant moisture.
Choosing Oasis Wet Floral Foam
There are many different sizes and shapes of Oasis floral foam for fresh flowers to choose from but consider where you will be placing the flowers as a starting point. If you are using a pedestal type stand then you would want to take a look at the Oasis wet foam pedestal block and if you are looking to create a floral wreath then the Oasis wet foam ring would be just right as it comes with the container base too. We also have Oasis floral foam numbers which are ideal for birthday celebrations or special anniversary events.
A professional florist may be interested in the box of 20 bricks of Oasis for fresh flowers which offers great value for money or to consider bulk ordering from us. Or perhaps you are going for an ambitious design or large bespoke floral arrangement, then we have an Oasis jumbo wet foam brick that can be carved to any design without the hassle of taping bricks together or the large Oasis design sheets for creating other slimmer shapes and inventive styles.
How To Use Oasis Wet Foam
The foam now needs to be soaked properly and thoroughly to maximise the length of flower life and make sure that all the stems are inserted into wet foam are able to get moisture and there are no dry pockets. Gently place the foam into a basin of water and allow the block to absorb the water through the 'cells' in the foam until it sinks and is completely soaked through. This can take a while so be patient.
As the wet foam is now soaked you can start cutting down or shaping the wet foam to fit your chosen container or place back into the provided container. Sometimes you may need to use floral tape to secure a block.
When buying Oasis wet floral foam it is always worth buying some extra just in case you make a mistake when cutting down to size or shape. Normally the wet foam will be a little smaller than the intended container so that you have space to top up the base with water.
